Pretty much every baby I’ve had the pleasure of knowing has at one time or other had Cradle Cap.
*It was so hard to get Theo to sit still for these photos but if you look closely you will see what looks like little scabs beneath his hair.
Cradle Cap is a skin condition often seen in babies that is caused by an excessive production of sebum, characterised by areas of yellowish or brownish scales on the top of the head. The severity varies from mild to quite severe although it does not appear to cause infants much discomfort.
Both of my babies had a very small amount of cradle cap which I treated effortlessly with one of my very favourite things of all time….
Here is a Simple Step by Step Guide to Getting Rid of Cradle Cap Naturally-
- Simply rub coconut oil onto your babies scalp, gently massaging it in.
- Leave it for a while (I left Theo’s in for the an afternoon).
- Then use a gentle natural fiber baby brush and in a circular motion, lightly massage the scalp.
You will find the cradle cap simply and effortlessly brushes away without causing any irritation to babies scalp.
Now you can just rinse babies head with warm water during their bath time and prepare for a beautiful, clean baby head that is ready for a million more kisses!
