Medical Disclaimer: This podcast is not a replacement for professional medical advice. I am NOT a Doctor. These are hope stories, they are NOT prescriptions, and every person's body, environment, lifestyle, etc... is different, so please, please, please seek medical advice and get a second or even third opinion preferably from a doctor who has been schooled in the benefits of a plant based diet. In a nutshell: See A Doctor. xx Corinne
I’m beyond happy to be bringing you this podcast which is filled with incredible stories of HOPE from people who, when faced with extreme adversity, stumbled across a whole food, plant based diet and radically transformed their health and lives for the better.
In today’s episode, I interview Marc and Kim Ramirez who adopted a whole food, plant based diet after Marc was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Marc no longer has any symptoms of the disease, has lost weight and is in the best shape of his life, working with his wife Kim to help teach others how to adopt this lifestyle and radically improve their own health, just like Marc has.
What a story!
Marc and Kim are the founders of the non profit Chickpea and Bean, Inc., Their mission is to teach people about the benefits of plant-based nutrition for health, animals and the environment. Marc is a Tedx Presenter, Certified @PCRM.org FFL Instructors at www.chickpeaandbean.com
