Hello Healthy People! :-)
Episode 33 is here and once again I am so excited to share with you yet another incredible story of recovery.
This week I spoke with Shamiz Kachwalla from High Carb Health who shared his truly mind blowing story of how he overcame severe Ulcerative Colitis.
Shamiz is a Certified Holistic Health & Natural Healing Counsellor from the Vibrant Health & Wealth Academy. He provides education and coaching to help clients transition to a healthier lifestyle, which also has the added benefit of assisting the body to reach its ideal weight.
High Carb Health's aim is to give people realistic advice on how to get healthy and reverse illness via a scientifically proven nutrition-based approach to healing the body. Our goal is to provide long-term, lasting solutions. We do not believe in quick fixes and our approach is far more effective in promoting health and preventing disease than prescription drugs, surgery, vitamin and herbal supplementation, and genetic manipulation.
We are based in Auckland, New Zealand and our speciality is digestive health, especially assisting with the healing of Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease. We have had first had experience at healing Ulcerative Colitis. Shamiz Kachwalla (Co-founder of High Carb Health) suffered from this condition in 2012 and was told he would be on medications for life. We then found out how a plant-based diet can help with the healing of Ulcerative Colitis and implemented it as soon as possible. Shamiz has not taken a single pill since he was released from the hospital in July 2012 and all his symptoms are now history.
